AED (Defribrillator) Training - Initial



This Course is designed to provide training in the initial management of sudden collapse and the safe use of Automated External Defibrillators. The Course content is designed to give confidence and competence required to deliver defibrillator counter shocks.

Course delegates should have a current First Aid at Work qualification and competence in current CPR protocols prior to attending the Course.
Pre Learning material will be provided and should be studied before AED Training.

This 4 hour course covers:

The Chain of Survival
    CPR Refresher
    Introduction to Defibrillation
    Introduction to the AED
    Defibrillation – Practical Workshop
    Assessment

AED Enquiry Form

All Tutors supplied by STS have wide teaching experience and all hold current First aid at work and NVQ Teaching Qualifications. They all have practical experience in the workplace, mainly as paramedics.
