This short course is suitable for Au Pairs, Babysitters, Parents and anybody who cares for children under the age of 5.

All of our Paediatric courses are delivered by paediatric specialists. It includes both theory and practical sessions and ends in an assessment.

Topics covered include:

- Dealing with an Emergency
- Choking; baby and child
- Resuscitation (CPR) on children and baby
- Burns & Scalds
- Ear and eye injuries
- Childhood illnesses including Meningitis and Febrile Convulsions

Upon completion of this 4 hour course, students will have a "Paediatric First Aider" qualification valid for three years under EYFS Guidelines.

Course can be run on your premises for a group of people or at our open courses.
