FIRST AID FOR CHILD CARERS



This is a short Course aimed at those working with young children, providing instruction on the application of Life-Saving techniques and common-sense approach to minor incidents that could happen at any time.

Courses can take place at our venue in London, or at your premises anywhere in the south of England.

This course provides great first aid training for nursery nurses, parents, nannies and child carers.

This 6 hour course covers:

    ASPHYXIA incl. Choking
    ASTHMA ATTACKS
    HEAD INJURIES
    FAINTING
    DIABETIC EMERGENCIES
    CONVULSIONS
    BLEEDING - Minor Cuts, Grazes, Nosebleeds etc.
    BURNS AND SCALDS
    ALLERGIC REACTIONS
    INSECT BITES AND STINGS
    STRAINS AND SPRAINS
    FOREIGN BODIES IN EAR, NOSE, EYE


Price includes:

    ALL TUITION
    USE OF EQUIPMENT incl. 'Baby Annie'
    VIDEO FILM where applicable
    COMPREHENSIVE BOOKLET per delegate
    ATTENDANCE VOUCHER
    COFFEE, TEA, BISCUITS. (at our venue)
    USE OF VENUE



The Attendance voucher confirms that a delegate has attended the Course and has presented evidence of competence. It would not be acceptable for areas of Work where the full FIRST AID AT WORK qualification is required.
