Qualified First Aiders
1 First Aider for every 50 employees. Take into account the size of the site, shift patterns, contract workers.
STS Head office has been based in Canary Wharf since 1995. In this time we have watched the development of the area take shape. We have had a close relationship with many of the companies involved with the construction of such a prestigious development. We have watched with interest the changing skyline.
Having worked closely with the main contractors we have learnt to provide training suitable for their high-risk environment.

We appreciate the dangers involved in such a hazardous industry. STS provide professional training to meet the demands of such a vibrant workplace.

It would be highly recommended that one First Aider is available for every 50 employees. However, the site maybe spread over a large area and First Aiders should be in close proximity to all employees. This may have an effect on the number of first aiders you would require. In view of holidays, shift patterns and absences it may be an idea to have a number of appointed persons or additional First Aiders to act where necessary in an emergency.
